Withdrawing money with an Good Finance credit card becomes more expensive
If you have an Good Finance credit card, or if you want to apply for one, make sure that withdrawing cash with the card becomes more expensive from 1 January 2018.
Withdrawing USDs from an ATM with the Good Finance Credit Card, Platinum Card or Business Card now costs you 4.50 USDs, regardless of the amount. That is already pricey, but reasonably comparable with credit cards from other banks.
Minimum of € 4.50
The amount is relevant from January 1. From that moment on, Good Finance charges 2% of the amount withdrawn, with a minimum of 4.50.
For example, if you take out 300 USDs with your credit card, then it will cost you 6 USDs – 1.50 USDs more than before. Nothing will change for amounts under € 225, which will remain € 4.50.
If you withdraw cash in a currency other than the USD
In addition, the exchange rate surcharge on Good Finance credit cards increases from 1.75 to 2%. If you withdraw cash in a currency other than the USD, you will also have higher costs for converting from 1 January.
These costs are in addition to the cash withdrawal rate. If you have an Good Finance credit card, or if you want to apply for one, make sure that withdrawing cash with the card becomes more expensive
Preferably with a debit card
Withdrawing cash with a credit card is only advisable in emergency situations, when it is not possible with a debit card.
